Foreign Missions

Ebenezer Baptist Church supports missions through our foreign missionaries as they GO. By partnering with missions movements such as Lott Carey and E3 Partners Ministry, God has allowed our witness to be extended in Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa, Russia, Lithuania, Italy, China, Paraguay, Argentina, India, and Cuba. Additionally, EBC has been blessed to make quarterly financial donations to Lott Carey and our mission’s partners in Kenya and the Philippines.

Lott Carey Foreign Missions

“Touching Lives with Transforming Love.” The Lott Carey Foreign Mission Convention helps churches extend their Christian witness to the ends of the earth. The Lott Carey global Christian network invests in indigenous communities around the world through prayer partnership, financial support and technical assistance primarily through ministries of evangelism – making disciples of Jesus Christ to impact the world in word and deed; compassion – providing help, hope, and healing to the weary, and worn; empowerment – equipment people and communities for personal and community transformation; and advocacy – challenging systems of oppression. The Lott Carey movement was founded in 1897 by African-American Baptists committed to a substantial foreign mission thrust – specifically on the African continent.

PHILLIPPINES:   Charity Baptist Churches International Ministries (CBC) in Mindanao Island, Philippines International Ministries was started by faith through God’s servant Pastor Jun Loquias the son of the late Dr. Claro M. Loquias, Sr. In 2005, Pastor Jun Loquias with his family wholeheartedly committed to accept a new challenge to start a work full time and independent but dependent on God. Having the delight in the service of the Lord he labored for the souls and church growth and led the different ministries of evangelism, discipleship/ leadership trainings, church planting and Christian Education. At present, Charity has 12 prayer centers in different localities in the city of Davao handled by the faithful men in the church. God has expanded the work with 54 churches and congregation in the islands of Visayas and Mindanao and currently supporting three foreign ministries and missionaries. God’s work is unlimited. Charity Ministries has founded and spearheaded the B.A.P.T.I.S.T. (Believers Action towards Prosperity, Truth, and Integrity for the State’s Transformation). This ministry is a national movement with a noble objective of good and godly governance by bringing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the ears and hearts of the public officials (incumbent and incoming). Though the work entails a lot of effort and travelling to different regions but the results of this ministry is overwhelming. The Charity is committed to continue its ministries and visions to fulfill God’s great commission. God never fails! To God Be the Glory.
